Here is a recipe that has been around for a long time. My mom "Trella" gave it to me and I
have passed it on to my daughter "Sarah". It is a recipe from Grandma Carroll "Fannie Ellen".
      Grandma's Beet Pickles
      6 c. water few whole all-spice
      2 c. vinegar few whole cloves
      2 c. sugar
Boil spices in syrup and put in beets and heat to boil. Pack in hot jars and seal.
